No space at Doherty: Worcester seeks rental space for advanced academy

WORCESTER – The school system’s proposed advanced academy may not fit anywhere within the district, which is looking for rental opportunities in the city. According to a request for proposals released two weeks ago, the School Department wants to lease, for the next five years, a building within two miles of Doherty Memorial High School, which school officials originally hoped would be the home of the new admissions-based academy.
