Worcester schools see steep increase in students with limited or interrupted formal education

WORCESTER – Upon first glance, Mike County’s computer class at the Dr. James A. Caradonio New Citizens Center is nothing out of the ordinary. Students are smiling, joking and eliciting the occasional gentle scold from Mr. County.But as the English and history teacher begins pointing out individual students, a different picture emerges.
