Threat at Quabbin Regional in Barre is unfounded

BARRE – School officials say the report of a gun at Quabbin Regional High School was unfounded. Superintendent Maureen Marshall, in an automated message to district parents, said the rumor of a student with a gun was proven to be false. A student acknowledged to authorities that he fabricated the claim.
