Tournament Rules

The concept of an NFL Survivor Pool (also known as an Elimination, Knockout or Suicide Pool) is an easy one; simply survive from one week to the next by having the team you select in a given week win their game.

The object of the Survivor Pool is to accrue the most correct picks without being eliminated before the conclusion of the NFL’s 17 Week Regular Season. For each week of the NFL’s 17 week schedule, participants pick one team who they think will win. Participants may only pick each team one time throughout the course of the 17 week regular season schedule (there are 32 teams to choose from over the 17 week schedule). The Picks you submit for each Weekly Game will accumulate one (1) point for each correct pick. Participants are eliminated from playing after one (1) incorrect pick

You can buy back in after being eliminated up until week 8.  You will need to re-register to do that.

New players will not be accepted after the start of the first NFL 2017 Regular Season Game that begins at 8:30 pm Eastern Time on September 7, 2017.

Submit your pick each week after the bracket is available and prior to that week’s deadline.

NFL’s first regular season game at 8:30 pm Eastern on Thursday, September 7, 2017.

Enter your email address. Players submitting invalid email addresses will have that pick disqualified, resulting in an incorrect pick

Pick an NFL team who you think will win each week. You may only pick a team one time throughout the course of the 17 week regular season, so choose carefully.

The Pool’s Submit  Form does not check for duplicate team picks, so while your submission of a duplicate team pick may appear to be valid, it will not be accepted when received by the Tournament Director.

Please review your previous picks on the Player Season Picks Report to make sure you are not submitting a duplicate pick. Within reason the Tournament Director will make best efforts to notify players of a duplicate team pick, but it is the responsibility of each player to monitor their selections. If a duplicate team pick is not corrected by that week’s deadline, it will count as an incorrect pick.

Click on the Submit  button at the bottom of the form.

Players may change their pick prior to the deadline. To change your pick simply resubmit your pick  The last pick submitted before the deadline will be used when multiple entries are received from the same Player Name.

Deadline for Entering Your Picks:

The deadline for choosing, submitting, or modifying your Pick for each week’s game is prior to kickoff of the first applicable game. You may revise your Pick for each week’s game after the bracket for that week has been posted until the kickoff of the first game of that week. You may not submit a Pick for a game that is already in progress or has been completed.

The deadline for submitting your Week 1 pick is at 8:30 pm Eastern Time on Thursday, September 7, 2017. Deadlines for each week are provided in the Deadline Table below.

Brackets for the new week will generally be available each week on Tuesday morning following the NFL’s Monday Night Football Game. You will receive an email reminder after the new bracket is posted.
